About Me

Fitness has always been a part of my life. From the little kid who swam, biked, and did everything active outdoors; to the teen who competed in sports; to the adult who has made fitness his profession.  Exercise always was and still is a part of my life, not a trend or fad I got into to pass the time or lose a few pounds.  As the years continue to go by, not only do I feel in better physical condition, but I embrace the challenge to see just how far I can physically go.

I am not perfect.  I love life.  I love to eat. I love to play. I love to rest. But there is always time to stay active, stay fit, and stay well.  And it is that passion  that I wish to share with you.

My Philosophy

There are hundreds of programs, disciplines, and beliefs out there as to what is the best way to improve fitness.  One thinks it is the best and the only way to go and others just attempt to reinvent and repackage the same old information. I believe that fitness is not a “one-size fits all” solution.  Rather, it is a culmination of multiple disciplines based on sound knowledge and solid fundamental, scientific principles. I believe the body to be a complete, highly sophisticated and functional machine and should be trained as such.  There are few things in life we can control – our health and fitness is something we CAN and DO have a say about.
